well i just came home to visit my friends i havent been here for about 2 years went to pullman square and they are bulding a bank??are you kidding me a bank?? i thought they were suppose to build another building there. why dont wsaz do a report on that. why does huntington need banks they should do a investigate on this. it looks silly that nice area in town then you see a ugly bank.

If anyone is wanting a new kitchen, don't hire Lowe's. It has taken over 6 months to install a small kitchen. The doors have blemishes and are warped. The installer caught fire to the stove and microwave oven. They have only offered a 10% discount and are going to replace the microwave. So if you are smart, you will shop elsewhere!!

I got my $40 coupons and installed the set-top-boxes that convert the analog signal to digital. Not a great improvement! I can only receive the signal when the sun shines. The last 3 days have been cloudy and raining and I get no signal at all. I hope they will improve on that.

I'm tired of WSAZ not posting comments that have no profanity and nothing is wrong with them. Instead, they post nonsense that people sit and laugh at because it makes no sense or is just far out there. I though this is where people could voice their frustrations. I'm tired of my comments not being posted. THey include no profanity or specific names and are about very important subjects. I just seen in the county paper Larry Tuckers add. He said you must have trust in your county commissioner. A man that took a 10,000 dollar bribe and did 37 months in a federal prision and is telling me a citizen of Nicholas Co. about trust. He betrayed the public trust. I could see him in Charleston getting a Grant. THey would laugh there heads off. Iwas talking to Mr. Hinkle the other day and he just cant believe it. Oh well only in Nicholas County.

The Karaoake Starz Contest is a crock. I went to the one at Quaker Steak with my friend who competed. They should have had more locations to compete at in the Charleston viewing area. There were over 50 people competing that night singing 3 1/2 minute songs. The guy who was emceeing the karaoake was drinking and didn't know how to operate his equipment. People who were signed up to compete left because he kept taking so long in between songs. There was a girl there that was 16 and they let her compete although the rules say you have to be 19. The judges were all employees of Quaker Steak and one was so busy acting and prancing drunkenly around and she didn't pay attention at all. The people that won-one won because he was hilarious, the other one won because he sang some death metal song about bodies dropping on the floor, and the last person who won was an employee of Quaker Steak and a Gov Spitzer wannabe escort or stripper type. No Talent -THERE WERE GOOD SINGERS THERE.

To OK, yes I do eat meat and vegetables as a matter of fact I look forward to my garden this year. I do not have a problem with eating meat you are killing those animals/vegetables to survive. I don't agree with hunting for entertainment(biggest buck) but if you are going to eat it then fine. I also do not agree with the abuse and the poor living conditions the circus animals endure. Also I do apologize I did not word the zoo thing correctly, I meant to say that they live in a closed in area which closely resembles their natural environment. They are not abused there and they are not beaten with whips or bullhooks. We should teach our children to be entertained by things other than a show where the training of the animals was achieved by abuse. The zoo is very educational by the way, oh and they are non-profit. The money you spend at the zoo goes toward conservation and the well being of the animals instead of someones pocket

I was in the court house in Nicholas Co. John Morton a magistrate brought Bill Laird through introducing him asd candidate for the state senate. I didnt think a magistrate could campaign for another person per the rules of the supreme court. oh well, anything goes in nicholas co. larry tucker is running for commission and he is a felon by his own choice.

We live on Green Valley Road and love to watch the news on WSAZ, but we have a major problem!! We have no picture on our Comcast cable channel 4. I've called Comcast and have also gone to the local office on 6th Ave. and they both say the same thing - it's in the digital signal from WSAZ!!! Hey guys - all this great upgrading y'all are doing is screwing us up out here on Green Valley Road!!! FIX IT, PLEASE, AND SOON - WE MISS SEEING OUR NEWS!! Comcast says it is only here on Green Valley, which is VERY weird, but still - it needs fixed. Thanks, hope to SEE you again soon.

Gee I am glad I don't live in Charleston! The fight over moving the Kan-Chas Health Dept is out of hand. Since when does "King Jones" have the right to blackmail by cutting funding if they don't move? They say they are willing to move so why not offer a better location than near the ball park? This is a very congested area with traffic from the hospital and an interstate entrance nearby. Handicapped folks would have difficult access. Are there no other buildings they could use? I did not hear of any alternatives mentioned. I may get flogged for this, but how dare King Jones put Hotel revenue ahead of his loyal subjects. I believe in progress, but not at the expense of health & welfare. Someone must be pressuring Jones to get the clinic out of there so they can start construction. His heavy handedness has got to stop.

This is a good day...We were driving 15 mph by Cabell Midland. A car sped past us in the turning lane going at least 40 mph. A county cop pulled her over. She also had a child in the front seat with no booster or seat belt. I say Horay to the cops for that one. Then in Milton, passing the Middle School, they got another speeder. Actually 2 cops got her, county and town. YEAH!!!!!! These people need to be fined to the fullest. They have the lives of our kids in their hands. Again I want to say thanks to the cops that sit there everyday and make these ppl slow down. And to the ones that "get one" Congrats!!!!
