I just want to thank the person that had flowers delivered to the radiation therapy waiting room at CAMC Memorial. It's a real downer to even be there and those flowers seemed to brighten things up a little yesterday. God Bless You!

I have a new name for the price of gas - "Economic Terrorism". There is hardly a thing in America that is not affected by fuel costs. I don't think I'm crazy when I say that if "they" can't get us one way, then they'll try to put us in turmoil another. We've got to wise up. Get outta this war, get control of immigration, get back to the basics of taking care of America and it's people. Not sending our brave men and women to die in places they are not wanted. Not committing ourselves to fixing cultural differences that don't match our own. We need to come home and clean up our own back yards and get a grip on what is truly going on in this country. Until now, this war to some has seemed far removed from our daily lives. Let the price of gas, base metals & other items remind us of the wartime shortages our grandparents endured and that what we see today is probably just the tip of the iceberg.

Im wondering why the cops dont do anything about the DRUGS in hometown bottom their called here 5 to 6 times a week but they never arrest anyone. I've seen them laugh and talk to the people across the track in the blue house that are the biggest drug dealers around on a slow day 20 cars are in and out of their house screaming teenagers and fights happen there all the time.Little kids catch the bus near there all the time its sad to think they could be offered drugs.Unlike the crack heads who live there i pay my taxes so i help pay you to do your job and i want to see some changes in this town like everyone else

Guess what I saw this week in Nicholas County? The same person was putting up convicted felon Larry Tucker's signs and the present judge, Gary Johnsons signs. Judge johnson's dad has Larry Tuckers sign in his yard. This really looks good for the judge to be backing a convicted felon. Don't you agree?

My wife was so aggravated by not having anything she posted as comments show up that she even blocked the site. I had to unblock it just to read the weather. To Don, in case you didn't get the point of her post, nothing she has submitted has gone on the site until today. She posted annonymously a few times but even most of those went unpublished. I have attempted to post numerous things to the site. The most recent was in support of the reasoning behing the man who is willing to sacrifice a piece of skin in order to earn money to buy something that will make it easier on his family. Your site continues to have the ramblings of Don and a few others, but you never allow my posts to come through. I find this very offensive and will now stop visiting your website. When I go home this evening, I will turn the station from WSAZ to another (of which I have no idea yet), I will also change my homepage from WSAZ to another. Congratulations on losing an avid viewer who feels like the point of view of many should be seen. I know several people who have posted recently and their posts have been left out too. I hardly doubt that what these people had to say is less important than a few who post repeatedly.

With the price of gas, pretty soon we will have to start letting people ride their ATV's on the road so they can drive to work! I have a John Deer lawn tractor - wonder if they'd let me license it and drive it to work? It would take me longer to get from Nitro to Dunbar but eventually I'd get there. People making minimum wage or under $10 per hour have a hard enough time trying to make it. Now it will take that same person working more just to put gas in the car so they can keep a job to pay for more gas to put in the car. The gas will be consumed along with their hard earned dollars and nothing to show for it so why work? I hate this spirit of defeatism, but its just the way it is. The simple luxury of driving our cars is part of our American Culture. Will it disappear? Can anyone help us? How can we help ourselves?? I don't want to stay home all the time - I hafta go to WalMart. lol

I got on www.wvhistory\culture.com and found the newspaper articles where Larry Tucker entered his plea to extortion. It was even in the New York Times. It's a shame a person would sell his sole out to the devil. Much alone come back and seek office as if nothing happened. He must be in partnership with Steve LeRose. At the meet the candidate night on Saturday I felt Sorry for Larry Tucker. He just can't tell the truth. The next thing he will tell the people is that he was set up. That he didn't take a bribe. But its the same with all those jail birds. They always blame someone else for their problems. What a shame.
