The mulch you just mentioned is a horrid allergen holder. My kids are severely allergic and struggle to be on the playground in the fall when the mold in the mulch seems to be the worst.

I think WSAZ has gone to trash blogs. Posting some of the comments that are hurtfull to families is insensitive. Especially the family that the husband committed suicide in the garage with his children. How sad that you allow people bashing to take place on your web site. Shame on this kind of insensitivity - how would you feel if it was you that the comments were made about?

To WSAZ; I clicked on your umbrella give away to see the names of winners, but no names did I see. Why not? Just wondering.

for tired of listening...In case you didn't get the gist of the comment I AM GRATEFUL FOR WHAT I HAVE-However it does no good to complain about the government considering the fact that it is not a one sided deal. The party divide is not the only problem in this country. This entire election has already consisted of male vs female, black vs white, minority vs non, republican vs democrat. No one obviously is equal in any way in this country.Sadly enough the election doesn't always have to be given to the winner of the popular vote.OUR GOVERNMENT,is a huge part of our problems. They don't have to allow Exxon to post record setting earnings of 10 billion for one quarter of the year. They have got to get their heads out of big oil and realize little America is getting screwed. I make $32,000 a year.Up until the last several months I had close to 200 that I could spend on extras now I spend that 200 just to go to work and buy eggs and milk.I am thankful that I have my life and kids. The rest sucks!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Posted by: tired of listening to the blaming on May 3, 2008 at 09:11 PM
Too Bad- Our government is set up so that no one group controls everything. The President AND Congress run this county. Neither one is the cause of our problems. They are in this together. They each have their good and bad. If life is so bad here, you are FREE to move to another country. Stop complaining and do something if you are unhappy. Be grateful for what you have.

My reason for posting my comments was to let people know that the stimulas package checks shouldn't be depended upon to pay bills and AND buy groceries. Also I don't think I made myself clear about my nephew as he is mentally 'challenged', and that is the reason why we still consider him a child. And I really don't like this republican as our president. He is an oil man and doesn't have to worry how he's going to pay the bills and buy food. Your right about not having much to work with come election time, our choices are bad to say the least.

Posted by: too bad on May 3, 2008 at 05:58 AM
poor Lisa, since you don't like republicans why don't you ask your sister to send back her 333 and not spend it. Beggers must not be choosers. That is 333 dollars more than she had last week. I guess you want to vote for Hillary the liar or Obama the-I don't know who I am. Given the choices in the democratic side, we all might as well give up. McCain isn't much better but at least his story hasn't changed twenty times. You people blaming Bush for all of the problems need to do some research and see how many democrats are running our government. How long do you expect an 18 year old to still be counted in the child tax credits?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Posted by: Lisa on May 2, 2008 at 06:20 PM
I just want to let everyone know that the stimulas package is not all it's cracked up to be. My sister is a single parent who works at one of the local nursing homes as a housekeeper, she only recieved $333.00 dollars because she has a son who is 18 and a senior in highschool,so he wasn't elegable and her $600.00 had to be cut due to her income. So I figure the less you make the less you will get in your stimulas package. Now you'al go on and vote for another Republican!!!

Thank you Don for asking. He is doing fine as are we. We just have to stay strong for each other. Its hard, but you do what you have to. So thank you so much for your concern. And yes, we send him pictures and home videos all the time. Yeah, it would be nice if WSAZ did something like that. But appearantly there are more important things. lol. Thank you Don and to all of you who support our troops. For all the military families out there. Keep your head up and stay strong.

I hope that they make this recall more public!!! Lots of people could be at risk!!! To those that have family or friends on it PLEASE call your DR ASAP! I hope that no one out there has suffered any type of problem from this screw up!

I would like say what a load of crap the recent report of the Kanawha County teacher who had a meth lab found on her property. The media made this sound like it was completely her fault, yet she didn't make it, wasn't charged with it, and it wasn't in her house. You are too eager to ruin someone else's career in order to gain ratings.

I am very disappointed with your coverage of the Best of the Class this year. I know that you have a large area to cover but I feel that this year you did very little to cover the event on the air. And I see nothing about it on the web site.

Thank you to WSAZ for its coverage during Autism Awareness month. Families living with this social and communicative disorder face unique challenges - daily. Coverage that informs and educates the general public on such important matters is the foundation of good reporting. It is beneficial and healing for all of us affected. Keep up the great work!

The fact that Mark hudnall was found DUI while running for office in Nicholas county shows the indifference the law enforcement of Nicholas county shows the special few. The good old boy network is alive and strong in the legal system here. Not only is justice not blind in our county but the scales are well tilted with gold. The police force is only for the special few and out for their on gain. The words to "protect and serve" are gone and "to profit and subjugate" are burned on there holsters. We can't hang a few of them as an example in the trees in front of the courthouse but we can clean house this fall. Please vote the incumbents out on their backsides.
