I am so SICK AND TIRED of the smokers complaining. Smoke in your home or your car, don't shove it down other people's throats. Not only does it stink up the air, but people who smoke smell stale and dirty. It's also really tacky and trashy looking.

For Will's comment: How about the reverse? Bars post the "No Smoking" sign and the smokers can decide if they want to go in or not. You guys say that if people don't want to smell smoke they should stay home. I say if you want to smoke and it's banned then you should stay home or go to the bar and smoke outside if you must. Smokers do have rights but non-smokers also have the right to have a drink or eat a meal without smoke filling their lungs.

I hate litter! Why do people do it? Do they think it will just disappear like magic? Picking all that crap up out of my yard and seeing it along roads just gets under my skin, I do also consider cigarette butts litter since they do not just vanish either and are likely to cause fires if the weather conditions are just right. Does anyone agree? Why isn’t this law enforced?

I have been listening to Congress about the housing Bail Out.. I say if Congress bails out all the foreclosures in the Nation then they are obligated to bail out not just the people losing their home but all the people that have worked hard to keep them! Gas prices are touching us all and the Banks are killing us with high intrest loans on low credit scores. This credit score thing is a farce! Half the crap on peoples credit is from yrs. back and regular people suffer but if you file Bankrupty your score is clean in six months.. That is BULL! So if Congress bails out the foreclosures then send every American homeowner a check to help us catch up too.

"In God We Trust" plates will definitely violate the Lemon Test as defined in Lemon v Kurtzman. Here is the full test for those interested: 1. The government's action must have a secular legislative purpose; 2. The government's action must not have the primary effect of either advancing or inhibiting religion; 3. The government's action must not result in an "excessive government entanglement" with religion. If only one of these three items are violated (and the plates violate 1&2) then it fails the Lemon Test and is unconstitutional.

This is why this Bible myth fails. A Catholic priest can remove a demon without the wholesale slaughter of pigs. What this story basically says is that Jesus Christ, the SON OF GOD, who possesses access or an actual part of God's infinite knowledge and infinite power cannot do what a Catholic priest (who certainly doesn't have the type of access Jesus would have had) can do? This seems like a fairly straightforward process--Jesus says "get out" and the demons should be going "Oh man, it's Jesus, let's get out of here." Instead the demons say "No, we want you to put us in two thousand pigs" and now Jesus is technically responsible for the wholesale slaughter of these completely innocent animals.

The Demon told Jesus his name was Legion "because we are many" meaning there was more than one demon in the man. The demons begged Jesus to send them among the pigs. Jesus gave them permission to go into the pigs and the pigs drowned themselves. Jesus did not drown the pigs. If you are confused by scripture, get a New International version as it may help you comprehend. Jesus was the lamb of God and died for your sins. Two things Jesus cannot do: Lie or Fail. So get over it, you can't trip him up. Go ahead & thump all you like, bang your head if you must; but don't hurt yourself. Disbelief is not worth a headache. I know this space is not for religious comment, so I will refrain from further words & simply say a prayer that your eyes & heart would be opened to the truth.

Wasn't the user fee started as funding to help with the up keep on the roads. Whar has happend I pay this every payday, but I do not see any fixing of the roads. Why is it that we do not have enough money to correctly fix ALL the potholes in this city, but we have money in the budget to resurface and refurbish the courthouse. This is just as crazy as the state putting Gold on the dome of the Capital. That money could have been put to better use, than giving the birds a gold dome to sit and do their business on. Now with all the budget problems Huntington is having they are wasting money that could be better spent on fixing the roads, that way ALL tax payers & User fee payers would see where their hard earned money goes for something useful.
