I think Kanawha County Schools should take that 1.5 million dollars being used for doors and use it for something more useful like solar panels or other energy efficient things to power the schools.

I think bible thumper believes in God. The fact the bible is being discussed in terms that question the validity of the written word versus history books as written. Since we are clearing the air, in your post you said "Why would anyone take the time to blabber on about religion or politics? Who cares?" We should all care in some way. If you choose to ignore politics, then you will join others who make stupid, misinformed votes. Politics drives the United States. It has become the foremost important aspect of this country because politics is the backbone of our very existence in the US. One law could be all of the difference in the world. Jenny, who makes the laws? Politicians! As for religion, no one is asking you to believe anything you don't. As a matter of fact that is one of those political views that allows you to believe in a god or not.One uping you is not my goal.However,criticizing others was your complaint.I don't see the difference between you, me, or anyone else.

ummm.....? No Bible thumper did not hurt my feelings. I stated my opinion just as everyone else. It is nice to have a forum for locals to express their opinion about things they find interesting. I know that there are nice people as well as mean ones. I am just tired of seeing so much hate and negativity in peoples lives. Since we are being BRUTALLY HONEST im going to go out leaving another post for you to ponder. Take a moment to read your last post to me haha. You sound like your trying to get on up on me or something. I actually agree with Bible thumper. Judgement hmmm what does it say about that in the bible? I said that it was disappointing. I was just trying to do some good by sticking up for some of the posters. They do not need my comments but I just wanted to show my support. Ok attention people. Important announcement: Booger is in love. Bad. I fell head over heels for the US Womens Beach Volleyball team. I can't decide who I love more; Misty May or Karri Walsh. But this is fact: I'd marry either one right now. Both are gorgeous. Both are athletic (duh). Both seem like wholesome, fun-loving girls. Both already have gold medals. I'll be dreaming of sand and volleyballs for a while. What's your take on these lovely ladies, WV? Any guy out there who WOULDN'T fall in love with these women? My favorite Olympic sport went from basketball to beach volleyball... I know, they're both married. Breaks my heart...

As for the Canadian Mega Millions draw, my neighbor got one of those last month for the second or third time. She was almost taken in the first time, but fortunately her bank warned her that it was a scam. She contacted the Attorney Generals office but never heard anything back. I told her she needed to contact them again, but she didn't feel as if they would do anything. We shreaded it.

!!!BEWARE EVERYONE!!!I recieved a check for $4,450.00 from Global Promotios in Grande Prarie, AB Canada. It tells me that a won in the Mega Millions Draw, gae a serial number, contact number (not toll free) and that i won $250,00.00. The check is to pay $3,400.00 for taxes, the remain is part of the payment of the $250,000.00. It says to send the $3,400.00 either by money gram or western union and to contact the agent listed to process my winnings. Trouble is according to the Attorney General, if I cash this check it will come back as a fraudulent check and I will have to repay every dime plus any fees. DO NOT BE TAKEN IN BY THIS SCAM...

I just want to commend the Huntington police department for trying so hard to get all of the drugs and drug dealers off the street. It seems that almost everyday they are making headway. Thank you for risking your life every day!!! Your hard work and dedication is appreciated SOOOOOOO Much! I cant imagine where we would be with the drug problem if you guys hadnt stepped in.
