Does any one know how much money the Armed services spends on sponsoring Nascar cars, and could that money be spent on something to make out troops safer over seas?

WV is the last in teacher pay, education, and health. We are dead last in converting to the information age (which is where the rest of the country is headed to). Our legal system is the worst in the country. I know we're almost heaven because of our natural beauty, but we're absolute hell when it comes to anything else. Think about these things when you decide to vote.

I think its horrible for a corp. such as Target to turn their back on children. Heck you can get better prices at JC Penney anyway. I won't be going back to Target.

How in God's name can the mother of Desmond Clark file for custody of Nalisha Gravely's child 2 days after her funeral? Did she forget that her son is the one who murdered Nalisha? Will the court system fail Nalisha AGAIN????????

I admire the Bar owner for standing up for his rights! The only reason the Health Dept. is puttng these laws in effect is so the States can continue to get Government money for the Lawsuit brought against the tobacco companies. The money should be running out soon. Cigerette sales are not down and there is no data to prove that these laws are improving public health! It is a farce! If more people would revolt against stupid laws lawmakers would stop implementing more laws and concentrate on laws that are on the books and try to inforce the laws already there. Leave people alone! Wonder when government is going to sue the DRUG companies? Drugs on the market today harm more people than anything out there. If lawmakers want to clean up the our cities concentrate on real issues and stop being dictated by money and Greed!

I would like WSAZ to research the stats of the rise in crime rate (of lowering in crime rate) since the Methadone clinic opened. I am sick of seeing people completely messed up walking the streets. If Methadone provides a "heroin-like" high, how are those people leaving that clinic and traveling to where they live? I would like it shut down and I think the stats would prove that it has contributed to the rise in crime rates and drug-dealing.

I enjoy watching the Olympic Games and am proud of the efforts of the atheletes of the US, especially athletes from this area. Today, while watching the US/Japan men's baseball game, I was proud when Jeremy Collins entered the game and commentators Eric Collins mentioned that Cummings was from South Charleston, WV. I was disappointed when his partner, Joe Magrane made a comment about Cummings reaction at the passing of Buddy Ebsen. He went on to explain Ebsen's connection to the Beverly Hillbillies and then qualified his comment by asying he was from Kentucky. That one of the good things about being from Kentucky was they always knew they had WV. Mr. Magrane's may feel that he is entitled to his poor attempt at humor since he is a commentator for Tampa Rays and Cummings is part of that organization. However, I feel he should have had more respect for Cummings' and his accomplishments. Jeremy's family & friends should be very proud.

It sad when chidren are put down and made fun of because of what they wear to school. It is even worse that as adults we make fun of the parents for needing assistance with clothing . Could you cloth children on minn wage. Some people try hard and need help that's what the system is for. Before anyone says anything I have no children and I have a nice jog. I am thankfull for what I have, but I realize in a moments time it could all be taken away. I donate to goodwill to help out some. If we all donated our nice stuff maybe it could benifit those with less.

If people want to yell about something, starting yelling your protest to the Public Service Commission demanding that they say NO to the 46% increase that Mountaineer Gas Company is asking for. Bombard their office with letters and phone calls protesting this absurdity. Their address is P.O. Box 812 Charleston WV 25323
