SOME ONE GOING TO JAIL OVER THE MEAN DOGS I CAN SEE IT COMING

Well Don to answer your punctuational question...!!!I am 28 and have four children of my own.I would do anything in this world to protect them and if you don't like that answer,I'll give you another.I am sick and tired of listening to these self proclaimed "intelligent" people rambling how much more important a dog is than children.Children should be protected and taught love and compassion for others including animals. But if an animal is going to attack them and cause physical, emotional, and psychological damage and can be prevented,it has to happen.NO child deserves to be mauled by an animal. If you think that a dog is worth more than a child's life, then you are the mental case.I have an IQ that would make your head spin.I can't believe that you of all people would have the undeniable fortitude to contest the intelligence of another.Ever been mauled by a dog?I have!Mean dogs shouldn't be allowed to roam free.Do you think that a rabid animal should be put down? Why give opportunity?

omg people, if those animals hurt one of her kids, it will be too late. They are dogs not humans. The kids are humans.. Do you understand? Booger instead of anitfreeze, just shoot the dogs. No dogs life is worth a child getting hurt. Get a grip on life people. Animal control is very unlikely to do anything if the animals aren't out of the yard of the owners or being visible mistreated. Talking to the owners isn't going to work either. Kill the stupid dogs and save your childs life.

POINT PLEASANT - Thirty indictments were handed down by the Mason County grand jury after it met Tuesday and Wednesday. On Thursday, Prosecuting Attorney Damon Morgan released the names of people who were indicted by the final grand jury for 2008. An indictment doesn't mean the person is guilty of a crime but suggests there is sufficient evidence to go to trial. One case that was not presented to the grand jury was that of arson charges filed against Kimberly Blake, who was arrested in January with other firefighters accused of setting fires in abandoned buildings in the Mason area. Now can someone please answer to why this has happened. I think that it is because of who you know things. How can they not have enough evidence when the the County Commission can stand by and let this happen. Mrs Blake should be facing the charges that she was arrested for in January, and daddy Blake should have taught is children right from wrong. Own up to what you have done.

To Booger: your idea of giving the dog antifreeze is illegal, so I hope you consider that, even if you don't consider the dogs. Not worth going to jail over. I would call animal control on the loose dogs, although I don't think that you live in the City limits, so there may not be a leash law. But, I would definitely approach the owners nicely and explain that if your children get hurt, you would be suing them. Maybe that will get them to lock up the dogs. Also, get your camcorder and start taping so that you have proof, if you do have to shoot the dogs in the future (if they are going to attack). The way animal cruelty laws are, you never know if someone could try to charge you for shooting their dog. Proof is the best thing to have. You can also use it when you sue their homeowner's insurance for any damages that may happen (i.e. hospital bills, etc) Either way, I completely identify with that fear. I pray nothing happens to your children.

Why do you have to refer to Governor Palin as, "Governor Palin and her pregnant teenage daughter?" There are probably untold millions of americans that have gone through a teenage pregnancy. If you are slaming Governor Palin because her daughter is pregnant, you are slaming possibly millions of families. Leave her daughters condition out of your news.

Booger - I'm sickened & shocked at your callous attitude at "disposing of the animal". If you or anyone else is having problems with strays or loose animals please contact animal control or the police. Children at a bus stop should not have to deal with snarling dogs. Barking at 4 am? Same thing. Have you ever thought of the heartache you are causing by poisoning someone's pet? How would you like it if a pet you loved was poisoned? How would you explain your actions to a child?? I've had issues with neighbors and if you can't work things out call the law. If you are being harrassed, call the law or move. But don't take the life of a living creature because you are too lazy & selfish to put in a pair of earplugs & move closer to your alarm clock. Samantha, I hope you are not listening to this person as they are truly the "Boogieman" with this advice. Sick-O. Do you have any idea what antifreeze does to a dog? Ask a vet. Cruelty in the worst sense of the word.

Samantha. More than likely talking to the people will just start a feud. EVERYBODY takes offense when you mention their dogs. If want to end the problem, set out a bowl of anti-freeze by the bus stop. No more mean dogs. I've had problems with neighbors and dogs. If you say something to them, it'll just start a fight. Trust me, I know. I've had to move because of people stalking and harrassing me because I asked if they could keep their dogs quiet at 4 in the morning. And yes, I asked nicely. People go nuts over their dogs, they believe their dogs are more important than you. I've learned it's better to go ahead and dispose of the animal rather than try to find a common ground with the owner.

I would just like to know, how can they drop charges against a mother that was charged with neglect on a 21month old. That baby had to be caterized at the hospital to be check for meth exposure. Who will stand up for this child ? I don't know why she is out of jail, this woman was pregnant again and lost the baby it had been dead for two months inside her and this makes her second miscarriage. Pitiful excuse for a mother. This is not this baby fault, so why does she have to go back to this kind of life style. This is a bunch of bull and her family knows it . None of them have even offered to stand up for this child. And I say shame on you all. Where is the justice in sending this child back to a unsettled life. I think it is very clear that her mother does not know how to take care of herself much less a 21month old. I hope who ever puts this child back with it's mother it might not be so lucky the next time. This is our problem with the law, and something must be done about it.

I am writing to tell the people on haneys br rd that let their dogs run loose that they need to tie the dogs up, because my children are afraid to get off the bus. the dogs come at them in an aggressive manner. even when i am down at the bus stop the dog wont stop they run at us with the fur up and teeth showing. My children should be able to come home and feel safe, not be afraid that a pack of dogs might hurt them.

This station no longer cares for the children in need or the community for that matter. All they worry about is the almighty dollar and their precious "web channel".

What a letdown WSAZ, I had to watch the Muscular Dystrophy Telethon on WGN-Chicago. Shame on you! Don't ever switch to something else again when children are in need.

Why would you put a golf game on in place of the telethon. i see its spose to be on myz but i have satelite and dont get that channel so therefore i had to find WGN to be able to watch it. This shocks me.For many years i have watched this on WSAZ and to find now that i cant because of a golf tournament.Shame on you all Jerrys kids is by far more important than a golf game

I was disappointed earlier today when I heard Tony announce that the MDA telethon would switch over to myZtv from 2-6pm. Please consider how large your viewing area is, and how many are left out when you move programming to myZ. I have watched the MDA telethon for years, as my family has been personally affected by ALS. I know of many in my area who have satellite service and as such are not able to view myZ. The MDA telethon has been shown on WSAZ for decades on Labor Day. The PGA could have easily been moved to myZ instead of the telethon. Please think of us in future programming decisions.

I was watching the Jerry Lewis telethon on channel 4 wich is WSAZ. All of a sudden it switched to golf and it said go to MyZ to continue watching the telethon. If I wanted to watch MyZ I would have had it over there already. I want to watch it on WSAZ not some second rate channel that they put out. I dont want to wach golf. Put golf on MyZ not the telethon.
