Its plain as day, MSNBC, NBC, AND WSAZ all support Obama. why else would they carry so much news about him, and so little for McCain.

After hearing the story on whether or not race plays a part in the selection of president, you ONLY ever hear about how whites will not vote for Obama because he is Black. I find it odd that NOONE brings up the other side of the coin in that some people will vote for him only because he is Black. Racism is not a "white" only disease. I worked with an African American and for her birthday, I baked her a cake. She took the cake home and shared it with her family. When her sister asked who baked the cake, my friend stated that her friend at work (me, a white female)baked the cake, her sister actually spit the cake out of her mouth and refused to eat it.

I wonder if this is the way all insurance companies work. First you have Brickstreet, who reported huge profits and wooed clients( I think it was at the Greenbriar) w/ nice prize packages ranging from 300.-500. food, gulf and etc, while the men and women who honestly suffered injuries while on the job had to fight them every step of the way just to get the bills paid, or to get their medicines. Now, you have the AIG scandal. The way I see it, they obtained federal funds under false pretences. One minute they are on the verge of bankruptcy, in dire needs of 80 billion to avoid it and now they are sending executives to a posh California resort. What's wrong w/ this picture? Corp. greed!!!

I'll NEVER vote for Margaret Workman. One day she came in the DMV, and jumped the line to the front. She was wanting her son to take a driving test, but she didn't have any paperwork. The clerk was nice and told her sorry, but it was a state law that she needed the right papers. She threw a fit. She cussed him up and down. I asked her not to say the "F" word in front of my nieces. She just looked at me then looked away and kept cussing. She even pulled the old "Do you know who I am?" line. The clerk was funny when he told her "I don't care who you are." Anyways, she threw a tantrum like I've never seen. Then she cussed the Supervisor. Finally, after about 15 minutes of holding up the line (people were MAD!) they let her go through, with no paperwork at all. Afterwards, did she apologize to anyone? The poor clerk? The people who had to wait? Nope. She just smiled and bragged that "I get what I want." Do you really want to vote for this kind of person? I don't.

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Less than a week after the federal government had to bail out American International Group Inc., the company sent executives on a $440,000 retreat to a posh California resort, lawmakers investigating the company's meltdown said Tuesday. The tab included $23,380 worth of spa treatments for AIG employees at the coastal St. Regis resort south of Los Angeles even as the company tapped into an $85 billion loan from the government it needed to stave off bankruptcy. The retreat didn't include anyone from the financial products division that nearly drove AIG under, but lawmakers were still enraged over thousands of dollars spent on catered banquets, golf outings and visits to the resort's spa and salon for executives of AIG's main U.S. life insurance subsidiary.

It is the nature of some dogs to run deer. The responsible party is the owner of the dogs. Could the Sheriff not be called so he could put the deer down? He might also be able to find out the owner of the dogs. I know when living in the country there is no such thing as a leash law, but if you know your dogs will run deer, they must be confined. A dog will chase a deer for miles until the deer is exhausted then the dog will kill it. That is just the dogs nature. It's like telling a snake not to bite when you know it will. It is my understanding once they taste wild meat they will go after it again.

I'll tell ya the right thing to do about the dogs. Blast 'em. Then call the DNR and tell them you took care of the problem for them. Sounds like the dogs are a nuisance. Only a matter of time before they attack someones child playing.

I have always disliked the Mardi Gras theme of the Tri State Racetrack & Casino. Everything is black - the walls, ceilings etc. and it looks like a cave or a den of thieves is more what comes to mind. The comedy/tragedy masks are creepy, too. They should have thought of a theme more related to our State. They could have had a "Mountain" theme with mountain murals and lighter colors that depict the beauty of our State instead of Mardi Gras which has nothing to do with West Virginia. I hope that when the Hotel & shops get built, they will have a shop with arts/crafts exclusively from WV so at least someone might take home a souvenier to remember they came to West Virginia and not New Orleans. When I think Mardi Gras - I invision parades of drunken people partying in the streets. Needless to say it is not a place to which I ever want to go.

I really hate the political ad for Ohio casinos. The girl in the ad "from" West Virginia doesn't sound anything like us - even those of us who may have a stronger southern accent.
