WV Power Back at Home

The West Virginia Power is back home after taking 3 of 4 against the Asheville Tourists this past weekend. Take full advantage of the summer-like temperatures as the Augusta Greenjackets and the Greenville Drive come to Charleston. The Power have a 8-game homestand and in case you don't know, they are in first place in the Southern Atlantic League's Northern Division. Being in first place is a big thing...trust me, I'm a Detroit Lions fan (the last time that team saw the top of the standings, gas prices averaged $0.23, Paul Anka/Connie Francis were the Brad Pitt/Angelina Jolie of the time, and the Ford Edsel was the car of the year).
One note: The Lions pretty much followed the Edsel's path of success there after.
I digress.
Skies should be partly cloudy to begin each game with weekday 7:05pm first pitch temperatures in the upper 70s.u Remember, Wednesday's game is a Grand Slam School Day game with first pitch set at 10:35am. It'll be sunny and warm.
While there is a slight chance for an isolated shower through Wednesday, hazy sunshine and mild conditions will dominate this homestand. I'll give you daily updates for each game.
