HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The thermometer was red hot Wednesday, reaching record-breaking highs in Huntington.
The temperature soared to 86 degrees in Huntington. The closest temperature to that was way back in 1921.
If you drove through Ritter Park, it looked more like July than mid-March.
While some folks worked up a sweat on the track, others said hanging out near the fountain was the best way to handle the unexpected heat wave.
