LOUISA, Ky. (WSAZ) -- Cleanup is underway in Louisa, Ky. after strong storms Tuesday night brought down trees, knocked out power and flooded streets Tuesday night.
Mayor Teddy Preston tells WSAZ.com it was the “worst he has ever seen.”
Preston says city crews have been out all morning cleaning up the damge. At one point, he says about one third of the city was without power.
Preston says emergency responders had to perform several evacuations at the height of the storm Tuesday evening.
