The road to Camelot started in West Virginia.

It was 1960 and then-Presidential candidate John Kennedy needed to win West Virginia's Democratic primary over opponent Hubert Humphrey.

Kennedy made himself known -- campaigning everywhere, including a stop at WSAZ's studios.

But it was later learned some dealing helped pull out the wind.

Kennedy won West Virginia, won the White House, and the Kennedy legend was born.
