Major Harris made some great strides in the 1988 season in Morgantown. A perfect regular season, and he had the perfect highlight.
“You know winning, I’d would have to say that more than anything. When I look back on my life, I will have to say the best time in my life were my college years,” said Harris.
And what a year it was in 1988. It was a perfect regular season, a date against Notre Dame for the national championship.
There was also that landmark win against Penn State to break a long drought in the series.
And then this year, the ultimate news for Major Harris: he found out he’s been elected into the college hall of fame.
