CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) - An accident involving a car and a motorized bike sent one person to the hospital Tuesday afternoon and temporarily closed a city intersection, Charleston Police say.

The incident happened at the intersection of 4th Avenue and Bream Street. It was reported just before 4 p.m.

Police say the car tried to go around the person on the bike and knocked the biker down. The victim’s injuries are not considered life-threatening, officers say.
