CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) - The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources reports as of 5:00 p.m., there have been 171,663 total confirmatory laboratory results received for COVID-19, with 2,905 total cases and 93 deaths.

Officials say 540 cases are still considered active in the state.

2,272 West Virginians have recovered from the virus so far.
