State Farm Insurance on Studio 3
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -
State Farm Insurance Agent Tyler Bullington was on Studio 3 to share tips on when you should review your policy.
Tyler says he recommends reviewing your insurance policies with your agent once a year to make sure you have proper coverage; however, there are other life events that you can talk with your agent about: if you’re moving, buying a new car, getting married on newly single, buying or renting a new home, having a child, or becoming an empty nester.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, State Farm is reducing auto insurance rates. In West Virginia, Tyler says the rate is down by 9.6%, saving West Virginia customers $30.3 million.
Tyler also spoke about the State Farm Arson Dog Program. With the recent retirement of the team in Bluefield, West Virginia, there is no accelerant detection canine team in the state at this time. State Farm will pay for the initial training of the dog, which is valued at $25,000. If you work for a fire or police department who is interested in this service, you can visit www.arsondog.org.
