According to officials with the library, they will be closing its doors to the public starting on Thursday, Nov. 26.

BOYD COUNTY, Ky. (WSAZ) - The Boyd County Public Library is closing due to the increase in coronavirus cases.

According to officials with the library, they will be closing its doors to the public starting on Thursday, Nov. 26.

This is also in accordance with Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear’s new restrictions.

The library says although it will be closed, you can still use curbside pickup and digital features.

Curbside pickup will be offered at the following times and dates:

Main Branch

·       Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

·       Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Catlettsburg Branch

·       Wednesday and Thursday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

·       Friday and Saturday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The book drops will remain available 24/7.
