LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – An area of downtown Louisville that was evacuated due to an RV parked in the area has been given the all clear by police.

The RV was parked near the intersection of Fifth and Main Streets, according to MetroSafe.

A WAVE 3 News reporter spoke to the people driving the RV who said they rented it to go on a family trip and parked the vehicle to go to the Kentucky Science Center.

The driver of the RV showed police proof of the rental the people cleared the scene.
