Additional COVID-19 vaccines for clinic with KCHD

KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) - The Kanawha-Charleston Health Department says all appointments for Friday’s clinic are now filled.
They will announce the next time they have vaccines.

KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) - The Kanawha-Charleston Health Department says they are anticipating receiving extra doses of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine.
This is for those 80 years of age and older.
The health department says the vaccines will be given out on Friday, January 8 at the vaccination clinic at the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center.
Additional phone lines have been made to help with the call volume at the health department for those trying to schedule an appointment.
You’re asked to call 304-357-5157 to make an appointment. Walk-ins won’t be accepted.
There will be free parking the Coliseum parking garage and at the Beni Kedem Shrine Center.
If you can’t walk from your vehicle, let the health department know when you’re scheduling an appointment and someone will give you your vaccine at your vehicle.
