Men robbed at gunpoint at gas station

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) - Two men were robbed at gunpoint Tuesday morning while leaving a gas station convenience store, according to Huntington Police.

Huntington’s Police Chief tells WSAZ.com the two men were about to get into a car when a man approached them, showed a firearm and ordered them to place their keys and wallets on the hood of the vehicle.

The two men did as they were told and walked away. Immediately after, they called 911.

The chief says later Tuesday morning the vehicle was found along 20th Street West unoccupied.

The police department says the vehicle was processed for evidence and then returned to the owner.
