WSAZ Now Desk | Dr. Clay Marsh reflects on past year of pandemic in West Virginia
CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) - Wednesday marks a year since the first case of COVID-19 was diagnosed in West Virginia.
Dr. Clay Marsh, the state’s coronavirus czar, has been a critical part of the coronavirus task force in the state, joining W.Va. Governor Jim Justice weekly for press briefings on the state’s response.
Dr. Marsh joins Taylor Eaton at the WSAZ Now Desk to reflect on the past year and recognize how West Virginia has led the nation in its response and vaccination efforts.
This interview is the first in a series with Dr. Marsh at the WSAZ Now Desk. Dr. Marsh will be talk about other topics including vaccination efforts, upcoming holidays and travel with spring break approaching.
