MARTIN, Ky. (WSAZ) -- Two women were arrested after a police chase that began in Martin, Kentucky.

Martin Police say early Tuesday morning, a Martin police officer was on a call near the Minnie Ball Park.

He then spotted a driver of a nearby car who he says knew had an outstanding warrant.

The officer tried to pull over the car, but the driver took off. He chased the car along Route 122 until he got it stopped along Hunter Branch Road in Printer, Kentucky.

Police say they arrested the driver and the passenger, Brooke Howell and Keisha Moore.

They are both in the Floyd County Detention Center.
