Taking your car to the shop before a vacation
SOUTH CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ)- Before you hit the road for your summer vacation mechanics say it’s a good idea to give your car a quick check-up.
“Your car is probably your second biggest investment, so you want to make sure you take care of your investment,” Isaiah Anaya car shop manager at All-Star Car Care said.
Anaya says drivers should get their breaks, tires, and fluids and wipers checked before heading out of town.
If drivers neglect this pre-vacation check up, mechanics say it could lead to problems down the road.
“You run into a lot of overheating problems. A lot of times you find that people didn’t check the tire pressure, so they got really bad gas mileage.”
