HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) - Two dozen softball teams are still alive in the West Virginia high school playoffs with the regionals starting Monday. They will be played in a best of three format with the winners advancing to the state tournament which begins June 22nd at South Charleston.

Here is when local teams will be playing and the first team listed will be the home team for game 1 and possibly game 3.

Class AAA

Greenbrier East (18-6) vs. St. Albans (26-0)

Ripley (21-5) vs. Cabell Midland (25-8)

Class AA

Herbert Hoover (22-3) vs. Lincoln (24-1)

Scott (16-6) vs. Sissonville (17-4)

Class A

Ritchie County (19-5) vs. Madonna (13-8) –

Midland Trail (18-4) vs. James Monroe (15-11)

Wahama (22-0) vs. Man (18-2)
