Police looking for armed robbery suspect

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) - Police in Huntington are searching for a man accused of walking into a business and robbing employees at gun point.

The Huntington Police Department says the robbery call came in at 8 a.m.

An employee of Smokie’s Smoke Shop along Route 60 told officers a man showed a weapon and demanded money.

Officers say the employees cooperated and gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of money from the register.

The man has not been located by police.

He is described as approximately 5 feet 10 inches in height.

His face was covered with a mask that had eye holes cut in it.
