Wet Roads Are Reason For Caution Today

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) - Thanksgiving Day starts off mostly cloudy with showers looming during the morning turkey trots. The rain will approach the northwestern counties before noon then progress from northwest to southeast in the afternoon. Temperatures will peak at around 50 in the afternoon then slowly settle into the 30s by tomorrow morning.

This colder air will chase the rain away at night before spurring the development of snow flurries and snow showers overnight into Friday. Temperatures will stay in the 30s all day long on Friday before tailing back into the 50s to assure frigid air for high school football forecast

The weekend will start frosty turn bright and chilly as rain and snow showers cross the region, this time with less bluster compared to last weekend. Saturday’s sunshine will fade behind increasing at the Joan for the Herd.

Saturday’s highs will make the 50s as civil war brought.
