WVU hoops heading to ‘Bama

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) - In one of the first matchups announced on the NCAA Tournament selection show, the West Virginia Mountaineers will be playing Maryland Thursday in Birmingham, Alabama. WVU is listed as a nine seed with the Terrapins making the tournament with an eight seed.

Times for the game will be announced later Sunday evening.
