Hunter joined the WSAZ team in March of 2019 as a photographer. Now, he has learned the ropes of producing and gets to enjoy both sides of the industry.
Hunter grew up in East Texas but has lived in West Virginia since 2009, going to Hurricane High School and Marshall University, where he got a Bachelor of Science in Weather Broadcasting.
During his time at Marshall, Hunter interned with WSAZ as part of the journalism program. He was also very active in the Music Department as a member of the Marching Thunder and John Marshall Fife and Drum Corps.
Hunter fills his free time watching his favorite football teams, the Texas Longhorns and Dallas Cowboys, playing video games, or going on adventures with his wife and friends.
