Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Tim graduated from Duquesne University and started his career in radio at KDKA.
His first television reporting job was at WDTV-TV in Clarksburg, West Virginia. He's also worked in management at stations in Charleston and Pittsburgh. Before coming to WSAZ-TV, Tim handled media relations at a Pittsburgh hospital.
