Alyssa is the 6 o'clock producer for WSAZ NewsChannel 3.

Alyssa began at WSAZ as a college intern. In October 2011, she began working as a part time weekend producer. Alyssa joined the WSAZ news team as the full time in 2012.

Alyssa grew up in Huntington, West Virginia and graduated from Huntington High School. She credits her love of journalism to the teaching of her high school journalism teacher, Mrs. Cam Hale.

Alyssa is a 2012 graduate of Marshall University's W. Page Pitt School of Journalism and Mass Communication.

Alyssa is a WVBA award winning producer. She was recognized in 2018 for producing the best PM newscast in the state of West Virginia.

When not working, Alyssa loves to travel. She also enjoys the theater, music, a good book, trying new recipes and spending time with her family and friends.
