John is the senior video journalist for WSAZ Charleston. He was born and raised in Marietta, Ohio, and grew up watching WSAZ when it was Boz Johnson in Huntington, Charles Ryan in Charleston, Bob Bowen with sports and D. J. with the weather.

He has been with WSAZ since 1981. John resides in Pinch with his wife Linda.
