CHARLESTON, W. VA. (WSAZ) -- A Thanksgiving feast was served at the Charleston YWCA at its annual Thanksgiving benefit dinner.

In celebration of its 30th year hosting the benefit dinner, the group revamped their event, now calling it "Foodie Fest."

The feast featured a fresh, modern twist on a traditional Thanksgiving meal at Paterno's at the Park.

All of the money raised goes towards the Sojourner's shelter for homeless women and families.

"I would just like to increase the awareness for today and let people out in our community know what a wonderful place this is that it is a local. That if you wanted to donate your time, money or expertise, talent its right here and it's all going into our local community," Kirsten Mork, event organizer, said.

Last year, Sojourner's provided a place to stay for about 700 homeless children and adults.
