Ashland man arrested in connection with sexual assault

A man was arrested Thursday on multiple charges in connection with an alleged sexual assault, the Ashland Police Department says.

James D. Berry, 52, of Ashland, is charged with rape, first-degree domestic violence, first-degree sodomy, first-degree unlawful imprisonment and fourth-degree sexual assault.

Police say a sexual assault was reported at King’s Daughters Medical Center.

Berry was taken to the Boyd County Detention Center.
