Barboursville Splash Park to remain closed through 2020 summer season

BARBOURSVILLE, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The Barboursville Splash Park will not open for the 2020 season because of health concerns surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, Barboursville Parks and Recreation announced Thursday.

On its Facebook page, Barboursville Parks and Recreation said the closure was due to the restrictions on group sizes, the need for continued social distancing and the desire to keep park goers as safe as possible.
