Body found in Ohio River identified

PORTSMOUTH, Ohio (WSAZ) -- The body of the person who was found in the Ohio River by two men fishing has been identified.
The Scioto County Coroner's Office says the person found is Denise Ison, 48, of Ironton.
Ison reportedly jumped from the Ironton-Russell bridge earlier this year.
Portsmouth Police are handling the case.
The official cause of death will not be known until the final autopsy has been performed.

Police are unable to tell if it is a male or a female at this time.
The body has been removed from the river and has been turned over to The Scioto County Coroner for an autopsy.
The body was found by a local fisherman.
