WEST HAMLIN, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A car crashed into a moving freight train Thursday afternoon at the state Route 10 crossing, West Hamlin Mayor Ferris Burton says.

It happened around 3 p.m. and involved a driver with three passengers.

Witnesses say the driver and one of the passengers bolted from the scene after the crash, and one of those men had a prosthetic leg.

One passenger was taken to the hospital. After a delay, the CSX train rolled on to Logan.
