Cases of COVID-19 surpass 4,000 in Ohio

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSAZ) — The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Ohio has surpassed the 4,000 mark.

State health officials released the latest data Sunday afternoon which show 4,043 people have been diagnosed with the virus.

The death toll also rose Sunday to 119. That is is up 17 from the 102 that were reported Saturday.

More than 1,100 people have been hospitalized from the virus.
