CHARLESTON, W.VA. (WSAZ) -- Detectives with the Charleston Police Department are asking for help identifying several suspects involved in a home break-in in the Kanawha City area.

The break-in happened Jan. 9 when the suspects went through the victim's kitchen window and stole her purse and her car.

The victim's credit card was used at Go-Mart on Charleston's West Side, and you can see the suspects using her credit card and driving away in her gray Toyota Prius.

The suspects drove to Beckley where they are caught on camera at a McDonald's.

After that, they are seen on surveillance footage in the stolen vehicle at the Willbrian Apartments, scoping out other cars.

Eventually the suspects made their way back to Charleston, where an officer spotted the car. The suspects ditched the car and got away on foot.

The victim got her car back, but now police are asking anyone with information to send a private message to the Charleston Criminal Investigations Facebook page or call 304-348-6480. All responses are kept confidential.
