Coast Guard crews are responding Friday to reports of a sinking towboat near Cheshire, the agency reports.

It say the vessel, known as the "Ed McLaughlin," capsized at mile-marker 259.

All three crew members were rescued and taken to a local hospital. They're said to be stable.

The Coast Guard reports that the towboat is owned by McGinnis Marine.

It also reports that there are nearly 4,900 gallons of diesel fuel onboard, and a light sheen is reported around the towboat.

The Coast Guard reports that MSU Huntington is on its way to check into any potential environmental impacts.
