A man who served more than a decade in prison for murder is now facing more time in prison.
Granville Ray McCloud was found guilty Monday of third-degree sexual assault, sexual abuse by parent or guardian and incest charges.
According to the criminal complaint, McCloud had a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old family member for a year. The teenager told investigators the relationship was consensual and happened during the span of a year.
McCloud's sentencing is scheduled for Nov. 16. He faces several decades in prison.
Cabell County Prosecutor Corky Hammonds tells WSAZ, “These convictions should permanently revoke his parole, making it impossible for him to ever get out of prison.”

McCloud is scheduled in court again at 11 a.m. Sept. 21. His bond is $300,000 cash only. He remains in custody in the Western Regional Jail.

West Virginia State Police say Granville McCloud, Jr., 34, of Huntington, has been arrested and charged with ten counts of sexual abuse by a parent, guardian, or custodian and ten counts of incest.

According to court documents, in September 1998, during a robbery, McCloud killed Juanita Hughes. In 2000, McCloud pleaded guilty in the case and was sentenced to life with mercy. He was granted parole in April 2014.
