Corrections employee tests positive for COVID-19, inmates quarantined

An Ohio Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation employee has tested positive for COVID-19.

The Scioto County Emergency Management Department says the Southern Ohio Correctional Facility employee tested positive for the virus on Friday.

As a result of the positive test, 37 inmates at the prison have been placed in quarantine.
