Crews fight house fire in Kanawha County

KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) – Crews fought a house fire Wednesday afternoon in Sissonville, Metro 911 dispatchers say.

It was reported just before 4 p.m. in the 8900 block of Aarons Fork Road.

The A-frame home was engulfed when crews from the Sissonville Volunteer Fire Department arrived. No one was home, and no injuries were reported.

Firefighters say an adjacent building sustained some exposure damage.

Crews from the Pinch and Frame volunteer fire departments were on the scene, as well as Kanawha County Ambulance crews.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
