UPDATE: Fire destroys vacant house in Huntington

UPDATE 3/26/16 @ 4:50 p.m.

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A house fire destroyed a home in Huntington early Saturday morning.

The call came in around 6:20 a.m.

According to crews on scene, by the time they arrived at the home on Hillview Drive, the house was fully engulfed and caving in.

Dispatchers say the home was vacant.

The Ohio River Road Volunteer Fire Department responded.

Fire officials do not know what caused the fire, but the State Fire Marshal will follow up with a further investigation.

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Crews are on scene of a house fire in Huntington.

The fire was reported just after 6:20 a.m. Saturday morning at a home on Hillview Drive.

911 dispatchers tell WSAZ the house was vacant.

Crews are on scene knocking out hot spots.

According to crews on scene, the home is destroyed.

No one was injured.

A cause of the fire is still undetermined but crews say they will be turning the fire over to the West Virginia State Fire Marshal's office for further investigation.
