UPDATE: Route 10 in Logan County back open following downed tree

LOGAN COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- UPDATED 2/17/19
Rt. 10 between West Logan and Justice Addition is back open after a tree fell across both lanes on Saturday.

The tree knocked down power lines and completely blocked both lanes of traffic.

Logan County dispatchers said AEP and local fire departments worked to clean up the mess.

A tree fell down on Rt. 10 in Logan County around noon on Saturday. The tree knocked down power lines and completely blocked both lanes of traffic for a portion of Saturday.

It happened between West Logan and Justice Addition. Rt. 10 is a road commonly used to connect Chapmanville and Logan.

Logan County dispatchers said AEP and local fire departments are in the area cleaning up and have one lane open.

There is no word on when the road will completely re-open.
