UPDATE: Driver of truck that went into creek dies

The driver of a truck that went into a creek has died.

According to Kanawha County Sheriff's deputies, the man died from a medical condition.

The incident was reported around 3:15 p.m. Friday on Sigman Fork Drive in Sissonville.

No other information has been released at this time.


A driver has been taken to the hospital after his car landed in a creek.

It was reported around 3:15 on Sigman Fork Drive in Sissonville.

The man, who had a medical issue, was removed from the car and taken to the hospital according to Metro 911.

First responders tell WSAZ that the man was backing out of his sloped driveway when he had a medical emergency and his truck went into the creek.

No one else was involved in the incident.
