UPDATE 11/10/16 @ 11:11 a.m.
NITRO, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A business damaged by fire has moved to a new space down the street.

About 1 a.m. Tuesday, flames damaged two businesses along the 600 block of Main Avenue.

Firefighters say the fire started in the middle or back of the building that housed a barber shop and Statewide Heating and Air Conditioning.

On Thursday, an employee with Statewide Heating and Air Conditioning told WSAZ that the original building is a total loss. They were able to salvage some paperwork.

The employee says the owner of the company owned another building down the street so they have moved operations to 801 Main Avenue.

Nitro firefighters say the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
