Four arrested after search uncovers drugs, firearms

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Four people were arrested Friday after Huntington Police Officers found them with drugs.
Overnight Midnight Shift Patrol Officers at the Huntington Police Department responded to a shots fired call in the 700 Block of West 22nd Street. Once on scene, two people in a car were detained and a handgun was recovered.
Subsequently, two other people were detained from a nearby home. Search warrants were obtained for both the car and the home. The resulting search uncovered a total of five firearms; one of which was reported stolen; drugs, cash, and body armor.
Cortez Robert Jackson, 21, of Detroit, Kasey Michels, 22, of Huntington, Demarcus Anthony Perry, 22, of Huntington and Marcus Maurice Wells Jr, 20 of Huntington were arrested and charged with two counts each of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.
Jackson and Michels were also charged with transferring and receiving stolen property.
