Four arrested in drug bust near high school

CARTER COUNTY, Ky. (WSAZ) -- Four people were arrested after a drug bust near a high school.

According to police, the bust happened just south of Grayson across from East Carter High School around 2 p.m. Tuesday.

Police had been gathering information on a vehicle coming in and out from Ohio.

They then were able to pull the vehicle over after a traffic stop on Alecia Lane.

Gary Dennis Jr., 30, of Hillard, Ohio is charged with public intoxication and trafficking of a controlled substance.

Keenan Parks, 28, of Columbus, is charged with public intoxication, trafficking a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, drug paraphernalia and promoting contraband.

Cara Kimmel, of Grayson, is charged with DUI.

Robert Wholaver is charged with public intoxication.

They were all lodged in the Carter County Detention Center.
