HURRICANE, W.Va. (WSAZ) – A man’s home and car suffered damage after a fire broke out in Putnam County on Sunday night.

Investigators believe the fire was electrical and started in the garage of the home on the 3700 block of Cambridge Circle in Hurricane.

The home only suffered minimal smoke damage, with the fire mostly being contained to the garage. The homeowner’s classic car, however, was said to be ruined.

Nobody was injured as a result of the fire.
