Hometown Hero: Ainsley Jackson

By  |

MILTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) – After a scary stay in the intensive care unit, a young girl is giving back.

She doesn't want anyone to go through what she did without knowing that others care about them.

Ainsley Jackson spent days in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at Cabell Huntington Hospital, with fears that she may not make it out.

Now, Ainsley is on a mission with her father, Josh. They are collecting coloring books and supplies to help other children who are in the PICU for the holidays.

Rob Johnson has our latest Hometown Hero’s story.
